We are very happy that artist and researcher Ivan Henriques (Brazil) will provide the keynote lecture. He explores the relationship between nature and technology through new forms of communication between people and other living organisms. For Henriques, nature is an inspiration and a necessary factor in the development of the technological world.
In addition, Future Makers presents three of its own projects in the field of new materials and circular creative processes in fashion and design: The Future of Living Materials, Emotional Durable Design and Designing for Precarious Citizens. These projects show how we try to contribute to more sustainable value chains in the field of fashion, textile and design through design-driven research. More information about these projects can be found on our website.
We hereby invite you to engage in a conversation with us and with the other speakers, and of course with the other attending
